Experiences:
In my professional career, I have designed and implemented many databases for both small and large corporations.

When I first created an ERP software for Vastluck Ltd., their employees refused to use the software after a few months simply because it didn't fit their work habits. Therefore I wrote the software the second time, and again, they abandoned the software in a few months.

Then I decided to go to each employee in every department to learn their work flows and habits. The forms and reports my boss gave me didn't reflect the insight of the work at all, and they finally made use of my software after I had re-written it for three times.

It took me a while to learn that "one of the biggest mistakes an engineerer could make is to create something that is not needed by the customer."

Besides making database solution softwares, I also consult the kind of solution in hand and suggest better approaches to computer problems. After all, most of my customers are not computer gurus, and my experiences can help them solve their problems in an easier and better way.
