Installing PHP4 on IIS6.0

Procedure (click the images for a full size version)

Download PHP from www.php.net, unzip it to c:\php.

Rename php.ini-recommended to php.ini and move it to C:\WINDOWS.

Move php4ts.dll to C:\WINDOWS\System32

GOTO Control Panel » Administrative Tools

Double click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

1)Click Web Service Extensions and select Add a New Web service extension

2)Add the path to php4isapi.dll [extention = PHP]

3)Check Set extension status

4)Right Click Default Web Site and go to Properties

5)Go to Home Directory tab and set Execute Permissions to Scripts and Executables

6)Click Configuration option » Add

7)Fill in exactly as shown [file = c:\php\isapi\php4isapi.dll, extension = .php, uncheck last checkbox]

8)Goto command prompt

9)Restart IIS [iisreset]
