China - The Great Gray Sky
After coming back from Singapore to Guangzhou, everything looks gray. It's not that my eyes have problems or I am mentally depressed, but it's the fact that the air quality is so bad such that everything looks covered in gray.
The sky is grayish, the city is grayish. You can see the pollution with the eyes as you can't see through a few miles. The city is covered in complete grayness and dusts.
Yes, that's Guangzhou, one of the worst cities to live in China. The local government is full of pigs who don't do real work and make the city better. Corrupted and only care about their own gains.
Speaking of the Guangzhou government, the mayor spoke of housing price cut in the first quarter of the year, but now what happens? It's in the second quarter and the land price is still rising non-stop.
Needless to say, any Chinese governemnt official's words are not to be taken seriously.
Well Guangzhou is not the worst polluted city in China yet. If you go to Dongguan, it's worse.
Do you think China's pollution is going to stop or decrease in the coming years? I seriously don't think so. After witnessing all these pollutions in China, any green house gas cut promise from the Chinese government is most likely bound to be bullshit.
Oh, by the way, the rivers in Guangzhou all look a lot like glue... and black... last time someone even reported finding a corpse floating on city river. Imagine how bad that is...
